It’s actually been very stable for me. I avoid the really severe issues (that are extremely rare) by not updating it every single day. I usually update it once a week or so. Of course, it’s nowhere near as stable as Debian, but it is more than enough for a desktop in my opinion. If it ever does break, it almost always can be fixed by just booting to a new arch install disk and then using
chrootto fix whatever broke.
