Recently splurged for a Fenix 7 Pro. Maps, music to ear buds, the light, battery life all great. It keeps asking me to enable ECG, but at the point where it’s supposed to sense something with one’s index finger and thumb on the metal ring near the watch face… nothing. Garmin Chat verified I had the right SW update, and said try a few more days. Nothing.
Checked on R*****. A couple folks there with the same problem. It may work for more people after another SW update or two. But do not be surprised if it doesn’t for you.

Update: Garmin replaced the watch. New one works fine. Maybe 1 in 10,000 have some manufacturing issue.
