This week, it’s Alan Wake 2, which has released and scored an 89 on Metacritic, a tick below a 90, but a 92 if you’re looking on PC where its visuals can be maxed to their fullest.

I haven’t played that yet but BotW is the most over rated game I ever played.
100%
As a fan of the Ocreana and Majora, I was super disappointed with the same dungeon just copy pasted 4 times with basically no story or dialogue. It was a fine enough open world game I guess, but it wasn’t a Zelda game.
BotW was great, but not if you were wanting a traditional Zelda.
TotK is hot garbage. They just took BotW and leaned way too hard into the whole “build silly contraptions!!1” thing that some fans were doing with BotW’s physics interactions.
I didn’t like so much about the last two Zelda games (I won’t ever play TotK actually). I think they’re fine games for people into that kind of stuff, but they could have been new IP material; I hate when companies take a game series and make it damn near a different genre. The world was way way too big with too much superfluous yet pointless shit to do and I hate repairing equipment all the time and I HATE crafting mechanics. I really hope we get more Zelda games like OoT, MM, TP, and SS someday and that this isn’t the permanent new style of 3D Zelda.
