The attack helicopter “joke” is inherently offensive. It’s not even in the same ballpark and there was never a time it was funny. I say this as somebody who is also annoyed by the (few) tankies he encounters.
I definitely get the “room” joke isn’t meant to offend but rather mock. The thing these two “jokes” share is that they’re reactionary, unfunny, and unoriginal.
I’m sorry but one is anti-LGBT and the other isn’t. The gulf is too wide. Find a more appropriate comparison. You’re trivializing how offensive the joke is.
