I’ve been using Friendica for over a decade now and basically used the Vier theme all the time. Also it look a bit old-stylish it had the advantage that there was an icon for the site administration in the top bar menu.

Since version 2022.12-rc there are two (identical) icons there: one for the admin settings and one for the moderation page. So, the administration got split.

However, I took this as reason to switch over to the Frio theme, which looks more modern, faster and fresher. Sadly, the access to the admin section is inside a pull down menu, but there it is clearly distinguished between “Admin” and “Moderation”

Another drawback for admins in Frio theme is that the user list is limited to a certain width, which results in issues when you want to have your user list sorted by registration date. I often use that list to check the newly registered users for spammers and such. So, this is a real drawback for me in the Frio theme.
