Does anyone know of any software to store, index and display a collection of FITS images? Ideally, all of the metadata would be extracted from the FITS files themselves; bonus points if it can augment existing FITS files.

It’s a real shot in the dark (pun intended), but I’ve searched for quite a while and I really don’t want to write the software myself.
