Question as title said. Just did a run with Viscosity Plate +2 and RoArcana +15, and skeleton in ascension only dealt single digit DEFERRED dmg and ZERO direct dmg. Unlike with stone, I still have a chance to dodge magic attack.
That’s not a simple answer since damage reduction provided by stone depends on your evasion and enemy accuracy. However, at low arcana levels stone definitely beats viscosity since the boost goes into increasing the portion of damage deferred first before providing any actual damage reduction. At very high levels, though, viscosity wins since stone is hard capped at 75%.
In your case specifically, damage would be reduced by ~80%, definitely outperforming stone.

I have Arcana +5, Evasion +2, and Plate +3 with Stone, and just passed the Dwarf king with next to zero damage taken. Only one in about 20 physical attacks made damage. Magic is another story…
Well in your case, the RoEvasion helps the Stone, perhaps a lot.
