Think a Prunus of some kind, so plum or cherry.

Iirc correctly cherries have a small split in the tip of each petal while plums do not.
Here’s a dichotomous key for prunus though I make no guarantees that your pictured species is included. There might be a similar publication or tool from a group or agency in your region that could have a better set of species (for what’s common in your region).
