I do wonder if the HFE issues have to do with it as well, Overall it’s actually good news, as it means people who really need a flat are a lot more likely to get it.
I suspect that contributed to the situation, but you won’t hear them criticizing their own changes to policies.
I know someone who applied more than 2 months in advance, had it stuck in pending status, sent reminders because the launch was coming, and only got it approved 1 day before BTO launch.
At least they got theirs. They should be feeling pretty good about their chances now at least! Hope they get the home they want.
