      Not really “triggering the libs”, moreso just general “absurd/unexpected, therefore funny” kind of comedy

      It’s surreal humor, a form of humor predicated on deliberate violations of cuasal reasoning, thus producing events and behaviors that are obviosuly illogical. Portrayals of this type of humor tend to involve bizarre juxtapositions, incongruity, non-sequiturs, irrational or absurd situations, and expressions of nonsense.

      No I didn’t copy the first two sentences of a Wikipedia article to sound more intelligent, why do you ask?

      Also the Wikipedia article in question uses both the British and American spelling of humor for some reason.
