Last time it came up on Hexbear a few years ago the general consensus was it was probably bullshit but not to deify regardless bc communists aren’t supposed to do that

I think the general claim was that he was run out of a small town or village when he was 17 years old by a mob claiming some reason or another but mobs are unreliable sources
