This supreme court is just trying to get a violent reaction out of the far left of this country and it’s disgusting. If they manage to get their way and use religious exemptions to discriminate against other Americans they are setting this country up to plunge into a civil war… and they don’t care because they well set in their mansions and watch use kill eachother from afar.

Yeah, I’ve been collecting and cycling water/food/ammo since Obama was elected. I hate to feel like this, to be “that guy,” but I want to be prepared when the white nationalists make their move. I need to ensure that I can defend myself and my neighbors if possible. I really should join local mutual aid groups and gun clubs, but my mixture of depression and being on the spectrum makes that an exhausting proposition. I just ensure that my neighbors know my name and that I’m helpful in small ways. That way, if shtf, they’ll be more likely to trust and cooperate with me.

Remember hording guns and ammo isn’t the only way to prepare for this. Learning to grow food, and engaging you local community is just as important, but it seems you know that.

I’ve turned into that guy after January 6th, I’ve even moved to make sure my family was safer. Something is coming I’m not sure what it is but I intend to make sure America doesn’t have a fascist phase.

Fortunately, I know how to grow plants and mushrooms, as well as hunt. I live in the city, so I don’t have the facilities to do anything of sufficient size, but I am able.

Sounds like you’re a couple steps ahead of me. Only other advice I’d have is get a 3d printer most people think of them as toys, but in a world where a broken part means you get water or not a 3d printer is going to be invaluable.

I’ve been looking into aquaponics lately it seems temperamental but extremely sustainable once you get the rhythm.

I’m not sure I have the space for one, but I can certainly start familiarizing myself with their use at the library.
