The whole Reddit-esque thing sounds cool.
Here as in the main board or here as in fediBB?
Eventually I suppose I’d like a main board for site-wide meta posts. In fediBB as s whole I want specific bases for my varied interests. I don’t like searching through rabbit holes of hashtags to find discussions on birdwatching or bread baking, for example.
Basically I’m looking for the idea of Reddit without all the bad parts.
This is my first interaction here, so don’t take this as the general opinion.
Right now, I was looking for a place where Lemmy instance administrators can gather around and talk about being an admin, establishing policies, discuss admin-user interactions, and argue about what the fediverse should be like. There is /c/lemmy_support and the Matrix admin chat, but the format of both of these is to fast-paced and fleeting, and so it is not so easy for future administrators to find the discussions that previous administrators already had.
I think a forum for such discussions would be very suitable in fediBB, because this format does a better job at archiving these conversations. Just a thought!
