I found this just popping out of the ground off a hiking trail in Connecticut. What do you think? Is this a small king bolete?

    For identification we usually want the top, the underside, and the foot/stem.

    The major difference between different varieties around here is the color on the cap. But from what little I’ve learnt it seems to be a bolete of some sort, in my country all of them are edible (although a few taste very bitter)
