Yeah it’s just a bit too happy. Remember the weird fear clown from Voyager? Apparently he lives on in her.
My second most hated episode, after Janeway & Paris’s salamander babies
Ah yes, but the actor that portrayed the clown, did that brilliantly.
Michael McKean. He played Lenny on Lavern and Shirley and Chuck McGill on Better Call Saul.
He’s an actor with a lot of range.
Wait! Chuck was Lenny? I would have never made that connection. Wild!
Too bad Beltran is such a POS
What did he do?
He deliberately went against the writers strike and is openly anti LGBT on Twitter. Dive a bit deeper and I’m sure you’ll find more.
My reaction would be best summised by last panel Janeway.
Damn, if true, that’s sad to hear. A coochie mo ya Beltran, a coochie mo ya
Definitely how Janeway would respond.
Thankyou. Told this joke to the hubby and now he won’t talk to me.
You’re better off without him if he doesn’t understand true art
I homestly think he was just annoyed he hadn’t thought of it.
This one’s great, one of my favs so far ⭐
I shouldn’t have fallen for that one, I’m a Dad for Pete’s sake!
It’s good what you’re doing for Pete, I’m sure he appreciates it.
That last panel reminded me of how she would often look back and forth rapidly at the person she was reacting to’s eyes and it annoyed me. I wondered if this had become a meme, like a “Janeway maneuver” or something, but it seems to be mostly forgotten/ignored.
A Reddit link?? What is this?
The only online example I could find! 10 years old, at that! I was expecting to find mention of it everywhere with how nitpicky Trek fans are.
And the video is unavailable…
I noticed - link rot strikes again! But I could tell what the person was talking about.
It never bothered me, but I did always wonder why she did the eye thing.
