Your cousin who recently started secondary school deserves free and unfettered access to the internet like the rest of us. Just going off my own experiences as a former teenager, but privacy is probably a concern to them too. There’s a 99% chance this is wholly unnecessary and unwarranted.
You are right about that. But the point is that we don’t want to be brainwashed by computer games and social media (especially Tiktok). The location status was also to see if he was travelling to and from places we don’t want without our knowledge.
