      The limiting factor isn’t that they run out of trees; it’s that if you cut enough down the local climate flips, and stops being moist enough to support the plant community which lives there now. This has happened locally in a few parts of the Amazon.

      They’re somewhere near that point, but what’s changing things is that a different government got elected.

    Finally some good news. One key dependency of the ground I, everyone, walks on and the air I, everyone, breathes is having something done to preserve it.
