A football player with hypertension suddenly got symptoms of an issue most common with head trauma, physical exertion, and hypertension, three days after he ate a hot chip. That aside, the only other case study cited was effectively a question to whether it’s possible.

      The article cited about the esophageal tear straight up states the hot peppers are not known to cause harm. The patient already had the tear, the spicy food just made him aware of it.
