My cat likes to crunch on a plain leaf or two when I’m prepping a salad. Especially baby spinach. I think she just likes the moisture and the crunch, because she usually leaves most of the mangled leaf there for me to toss out. But she would enjoy pawing through a bowl like this, to pick out one leaf for herself.
I had a cat growing up who loved lettuce. We’d toss him a leaf, and he’d go nuts, growling the whole time while eating it. The other cats would just look at him like ‘wtf bro we don’t even want that’
