AMD and Nvidia are basically on par for now, especially so for RTX 4090 vs 7900XTX.
These are day-1 results and must be expected to change significantly through the next six months of driver and game updates.
Upscaling was not tested.

I wonder what the comparison would be like if the latest AMD GPUs use FSR3 and the 40 series van use DLSS3,5.
Hardware unboxed will definitely do another deep dive into upscalers once fsr3 is widely available.
I didn’t watch the whole thing, just checked out the charts. It does not bode well for my 2080.
Game still looks good on Low. I’m on a notebook 2080 and my fps is low but smooth
Meanwhile, the game won’t even launch for me because apparently if you don’t have the most recent version of Windows, it won’t recognize your graphics card. And for whatever reason absolutely refuses to update to 22H2.
I guess I spent 9,99 Euro on 1 month Game Pass to realize that it’s too bad on my GTX 970 to be fun, glad there are other games I can play for the money. Still I need to see for myself, cry a bit and life will go on.
Fuck I hope my 1080ti can do it
