I have a whole folder of story ideas and outlines. Ive found theyre best left sitting until one of the ideas resurfaces and I feel inspired to write about it.

Im actually a few chapters into a story that sat in my ideas folder for over a year. I had a dream about it and all of a sudden I knew exactly what I wanted to do with the story.

Ive found trying to force things tends to lead to bad writing for me personally. I make myself write every day, but I dont try and force something specific. Some days all I write all journal entries and forum posts, but I think it keeps me in practice so when I finally get inspired the writing flows easily.
