This image has a bit of a fun origin

This is a picture of a 3D printed miniature Krusty placed in front of a computer monitor displaying an image of mountain view. It was taken using a 1960s 16mm Soviet projector lens adapted (after a couple hops) to a Lumix G9. The image was then ran through Lightroom, Audacity, Lightroom again, and the parental advisory logo was added afterwards using Gimp.

The model is roughly 1 inch tall.

The model was unpainted at the time of the photo and I have since given the model to a friend. Though I’ll probably print more of him.

Yeah! It’s called databending and it’s really cool. Save your image as a bmp and then import as raw into audacity. Fuck around with some effects, maybe cut and paste some sections, perhaps copy some bits onto new audio tracks to layer them, then save it as a wav file. Rename it to a .bmp, open in your image editor/viewer of choice and enjoy!

I only learned about it recently and I’m so happy I did, it can be used to add some very unique effects to images

One small correction though, you can save the images directly as a .bmp (or even .raw) file from Audacity. One thing I do is save it as a bmp then convert it to a jpg for Lightroom

And this one is super weird, I’m able to focus on things behind what’s in front of the lens

      Like this

Honestly I’m so happy I bought this lens because of how strange it is, it makes photos seem like they’re out of a dream

Wtf, I just tried to print this model from thingiverse!

Z axis was skipping steps for some reason… I’ll have to give it another shot today.
