Article says the pro models won’t have the speed limit. Also, almost no one is transferring data from their computer to phone. This won’t bother anyone.

So you regularly transfer small files that you wouldn’t notice the speed difference on the transfer of?

        What a trash take.

The difference between instantly transferring multiple books and waiting upwards of 10 to 20 seconds per book isn’t noticeable?

Telling other people how valuable their time is a real trash take my dude. So trash that I can only assume you’re a butt hurt Apple fanboy.

You mean people can’t complain about the shitty company that make the most anti-consumer ideas a reality, other companies see it’s userbase still buying their shit like hot cakes and be like “might as well do it too” I want to give apple a big fuck you for “pioneering” non removable batteries , no headphone jack, no charging cable and many other “innovations”.

This is one of the dumbest takes I’ve seen in a good while. A vast, vast majority of people didn’t care about climate change until it started to affect them. A vast, vast majority of people don’t care about internet privacy until it affects them personally. A vast majority of people didn’t care about seatbelts, or drunk drivers, or asbestos, or corporate lobbying, or lead paint, or the wealth gap, or countless other “minor inconveniences that only obsessed people care about”. And yes, a vast, vast majority of people don’t care about Apple’s anti consumer behaviors, but it still negatively impacts the whole market. This kneecapping of USB-C speeds will affect anyone who uses a hub to connect peripherals to their device, and is an unnecessary and malicious way to make the Pro model “better” by making the standard intentionally worse.

Folks who push back improve the situation for everyone. Folks like you who tacitly defend the status quo allow things to continue to get worse. And when they finally target a feature you personally care about, some shill will tell you no one cares.

Edit: This is why I should read the article before complaining too much. The headline is misleading, they are shipping with a shitty cable, the port will follow USB C standards however. Still not great, but my point about using hubs is null and void in light of that fact.

A vast majority of these people would buy a napkin with an apple logo for twenty bucks. If advertisement can rot someone brain to the point of defending a company trying to fuck them hard we’re doomed as a society and consumerism will be our downfall.
