I just got this EC2-C and shortly after receiving it also got an EC3-C I saw a wild deal for on ebay. I fucking love this thing. The EC shape is classic as can be and this feels shockingly light for its size, feeling effectively lighter than a lot of the smaller trendy mice with holes all over them. The cable feels nonexistent in a bungee, the coating feels great while being held (though maybe slightly too slippery? will have to see), and I genuinely love that super loud Zowie scrollwheel. Some say the clicks feel hollow, but to me that slight hollowness just makes the clicks resonate in a way that’s pretty satisfying. I have corepads on the way along with a new mousepad since I’ve never really experimented with better skates or pads.
A big plus for me as a Linux user is that its configs are handled with physical buttons on the bottom. No Windows-only data collecting bs, and no dealing with community projects like OpenRazer or libratbag. It’s simple and works just as I’d like it to.
