I once managed to almost burn my house down with taco shells (don’t heat them up in a toaster…). So I think that is a smart idea (unlike my idea).

I’ve heard about it but I’m not going to repeat it, because arson is bad
Potato chips burn easily and don’t leave a conspicuous residue like petroleum does.
For starting camp fires in a safe environment, obviously.
