I’m interested in a Prodigy film series. Spider-verse has really charged up audiences on animation and I think TMNT’s recent success along with the Spider sequel supports this notion. The key is having a solid story and refreshing animation. Prodigy will have to significantly improve its visual style to succeed but an actual movie budget could allow for it. It’s clear folks are over standard pixaresque/Nickelodeon 3d animation in movies.
I kinda like he visual style, but a budget bump could help smooth the rough edges. the S02 preview certainly looks… like it took a budget hit. The Doctor’s mouth barely moves and looks like he’s from a 00s video game :(
