GNU Aspell have a lot of dictionaries that can be useful for autocompletion and/or correction.

Also, most keyboards have the option to automatically add words to a personal dictionary: tapping them, or just using them more than once.

IFRC some can even import/export the personal dictionary, but doesn’t seem to be something that important.
