I’m looking through the options and this doesn’t seem possible but surely there’s a way and I’m just doing something wrong? I don’t subscribe to any communities, so my homepage is always empty when I open the app and I need to manually change to Local. I’d like to just default to all instance posts on startup.
In your settings, you should see “Type: Subscribed | Local | All”

But maybe if you change it via the browser the app will also respect your settings. I’m not sure though, I have not used “Voyager”.
I believe the app is respecting your defaults, in your account settings, for view, whereas sort seems to be whatever you set it to in the app… You can access this on the Web or use the Jerboa app, to change the defaut view setting as you wish…
I just tried changing the setting from Lemmy and Voyager doesn’t appear to respect that choice. I think it just defaults to All if you’re logged out, and Home (ie subscriptions) if you’re logged in.
You’re right, I just gave it a try, and Voyager does indeed just default to Home when logged in, which honestly is fine for me anyway, I don’t have a issue with that…
