Well you see, some guys are a bit…diminutive…in that area, which changes the angle of the stream. The shorter it is, the more horizontal the stream gets. If it’s just short enough, the natural resting position aims it perfectly between the seat and the bowl. Though I sometimes think that would be better than pissing on my balls, because that’s a motherfucker and a half to wipe up afterwards.
