I do not like the term Angel because it sounds religious and it comes with a lot of baggage and stereotyping from Christianity. I will also note that for my purposes I will use the term celestial beings, because the term celestial maidens sounds better but does not suit men and those who are gender non-binary. Biblical angels may behave a certain way, but many celestial beings have healthy attitudes towards sex, romance, or other controversial topics. The rituals that transform you into celestial deities do not make you allergic to sex or anything the pope does not like, but instead it changes the experiences you have during those situations. For example, an Incubus has a stronger sacral chakra since their desire for sex comes from their genitals and libido. Celestial beings have a large crown chakra (Represented by a halo or sometimes even horns or laurels) but may still desire sex or romance from the higher chakras such as the heart, throat, third eye, or even crown.

It should also be noted that a transformation to a celestial being makes you less materialistic, but it is not in a depressed way. So many people hear that transforming makes you uninterested in anything material, and they immediately think “Will I still enjoy my emo music, Will I still like five seconds of summer?” and of course you will. The difference is that you appreciate aesthetics, art, and other people a lot more and you do not place an exaggerated importance on material wealth.

If you work with the occult you also realize that angels and demons are basically the same with the difference of one being light and one being dark. However, dark is not bad and light is not necessarily good. I don’t want to over explain this, but there are celestial beings that have sex with humans and demonic beings that are celibate and refrain from hedonism as well like you would expect from a monk. The correlations that we see in religion tend to be exaggerated since they immediately vilified one side according to Abrahamic philosophy while painting the other as ideal. Celestial beings are having children with demons all the time. Many celestial maidens actually seek out the incubi because they like bad boys. Not the major ones we hear about in religion, but those who are in the sky realm under Hechun. The reverse also happens since many Incubi fantasize about innocent celestial maidens as well. This sounds strange but it’s what when anyone has free will. This will be awkward for those who grew up in the church and end up in the sky realm but celestial beings are also in LGBT relationships sometimes.

When you’re working with these deities, just know it is not smart to assume virtue or benevolence on either side. You may even have demons or celestial beings defending your bloodline. And you may even be surprised by which one. You could be a skilled magician working with Satan and Lucifer but then see you have celestial guardians or other kinds of djinn. Nobody is segregating in the spirit world, so you will be surprised to see what combinations of guardians you have. You may have even inherited spirit guides from an ancestor’s spiritual practices that you don’t even know who they are.
