Fanatical is offering three or more high profile games for five dollars each, if you buy them in bulk. If you buy three, you pay $14.99. If you buy five, you pay $22.99.

There are all kinds of triple and double A titles on offer in this bundle, ranging from Maneater (you’re a bloodthirsty shark) to Doom Eternal (you’re a bloodthirsty soldier) to Metro Exodus (you’re a bloodthirsty Russian soldier, but as far as I know, not a shark).

That’s all well and good, but if you’re an old school gamer, what you REALLY want is Final Vendetta. This Bitmap Bureau release is what happens when you make a Streets of Rage game for the Neo-Geo, and it’s exactly as awesome as that description sounds.

Yes, the vault play mechanic from Streets of Rage that lets you jump behind opponents to deliver a devastating slam is here. Yes, the sumptuous graphics and animation of the Neo-Geo- the undisputed king of 16-bit game consoles- is here. Yes, your usual trio of well-balanced brawler, bone-breaking wrestler, and speedy femme fatale are all here.

Final Vendetta is one of the most satisfying beat 'em ups I’ve played in years, and if you’re a fan of this genre, you absolutely need to have this in your Steam collection. Don’t be scared away by the descriptions of FV as “the Dark Souls of Final Fight clones;” you can play it on easy and push your way through the whole game without too much trouble. (Even on easy, expect a tough fight from the last boss. Would you expect nothing less?)
