Pretty interesting to me too that you worry about “excommunication” and not, you know, sending these criminals to jail and demanding your church stop protecting them.
I do worry about sending them to jail, but I thought that I didn’t even have to say that.

If that’s what you think the Bible says about rape you should actually read it. The Bible is full of rapists.
