Hello

I am trying to get my head around vpn setups.

My home network (router) connects to a commerical vpn.

I want to connect to my home cctv.

Can i make a wireguard server on my home setup so i can connect to it when out and about.

If i setup the wireguard, and i want to connect to it , lets say from my mobile. Would i put my commerical vpn ip to connect or my isp ip?

Another question is that my android mobile connects to a commerical openvpn vpn. Would i be able to have my openvpn (commerical) still established and connect to my home server via wireguard?

Thanks

Best to host the wireguard on your isp’s ip as vpn inside vpn causes issues with mtu and are also harder to troubleshoot. Also check out tailscale if you just want something quick and easy
