    As far as I’m concerned, do what you want with your machine. I’ll only really care if you host something for others insecurely, or ask for help when you knowingly ignore best practices. Otherwise, it’s Linux. Have at it.

      a precompiled version would just defeat the point of it being suckless, one of the big parts is that you patch and compile it yourself, with the features that you need, having one with the default config wouldnt work for most people who actually want to use dwm. st could work but its still missing features alot of people would most likely want to patch in.

      st maybe, but the whole point of dwm is to modify the source code to do whatever you want, with a binary from the official repo, that cant be done

    Because for some inexplicable reason, Linux fans always seem to have nvidia

      Here are some possible reasons

      • Nvidia is more popular in general
      • Gamers (used to see Nvidia perform better)
      • CUDA (which is the de facto standard for AI/parallel computing)
      • Many people come from windows
      • Nvidia kinda works, with proprietary drivers and xorg

    Gnome is my home, KDE is too complicated and is ugly in my opinion, it trys to act like windows and I don’t like that
