Waste management, city hall workers, people that maintain local parks etc could all be municipal workers. You could call them wastefighters?

Municipal worker just means you work for a municipality (i.e. a city/town that has its own local government). Waste management, city hall workers, people that maintain local parks etc could all be municipal workers.
You could call them wastefighters?
