Meh, once you figure out your timing you can do a pretty passable batch of frozen fries in the oven.
Air fryer still wins. Comes out same consistency as in a conventional fryer, but not saturated with grease. Takes a bit longer than deep frying, but I can still go from raw potatoes to chips in under 20mins with 10ml of oil.
It looks like they used wax paper instead of parchment paper.
I use a metal wire basket from two toaster-ovens-ago.

It does look that way, I missed that the first time.
