Balance needs to be established between being in the comfort zone and leaving it. If i stayed in my comfort zone all day (my room) then my mental health would start to suffer but leaving the zone for too long also has that effect.
In that case, it is my impression, that your comfort zone is actually the balance between staying in your room and going out, maybe?
