Importantly, the law authorizing this doesn’t authorize the president to reverse the ban. Trump has used it before too.
So reversing this likely means an unusual ruling from the courts, or getting congress to change things. Both possible, but take a lot more effort than simply issuing an executive order.

I feel you. For what it’s worth, the Act that Biden used already has precedent of not allowing reversal of bans from the last trump administration when he attempted to overturn or “unban” drilling bans from the Obama admin. It said it would take an act of congress.
A congress his party nearly completely controls.
