Can’t wait for the coming administration to axe it and the right start screaming it’s Obama’s fault

The coming administration can’t “axe it”. It’s legislation and “the right” in Congress in voted for it.

Pretty sure public workers are already well compensated, what about the rest of us?

Edit: I said what I said and y’all can down vote me all you want but I’m right: they’re one of the few positions where being a part time employee at multiple agencies can still net you retirement points equal to full time work and as a result all of the retired govt workers I’ve ever met are all double and triple dipping into their pensions they didn’t have to contribute to. They didn’t need anything else.

because his whole career has consisted of only helping his check writers but always acting like every crumb he throws is a banquet for the citizens

No, it’s a sore spot for me because I work with governments, unlike snow plow drivers who are out at 3am your average office worker answering phones doesn’t deserve a shit load more retirement benefits then your equal private market employee. There needs to be more refinement to retirement laws to reign that shit in.

Assuming you’re correct, this means the private market employee deserves more than they’re getting from their shitty private employer… Not that the public employee deserves less
