People who receive backlash/hate are often put in positions where they have to work harder to prove themselves. Jon Skeet on SO was treated like a God and a meme because his score was so high it reset. Her using whatever form of merit that we have to demonstrate her skillset is totally valid. Anyone can learn how to code. What separates the hobbyist from the professional is the amount of time they’re willing to put in.
