A massive data leak involving over 800,000 Volkswagen EVs has left sensitive user information unprotected on the internet.

If emphasis wasn’t already concentrated on the security of these connected vehicles, major oversight obviously…

    Is there a company yet that let’s me pay them to internet disconnect and rip out sensors on a modern car?

    I recognize that its a tricky process, but since the Mozilla report, it seems like there’s a market for it. I’d happily pay $5k for a privacy-mod to an electric vehicle.

        I dont think these car companies would offer privacy as a service. It would have to be aftermarket

          If you look at a few of their executives, they come from various areas of the automotive industry. But I think they are getting a head start on this! They are providing certification badging for vehicles, and FREE for a limited time, lol
