As it’s a reference to A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens or in the sense that it sounds very similar to the phrase "she [did something such as fellatio or manual stimulation] on my penis until I orgasmed? In this case it also helps that some of the word choice resembles other words often used in such statements, although more in cadence than specific phenomes; while the consonants are quite different, the number and stressing pattern of syllables calls to mind similar phrases. “Ebbin,” for instance might sound like “gaggin” (gagging) which is something a woman might do while performing fellatio. “Neezer” again has the same number and pattern of stressed syllables as “penis.” Scrooge is an especially interesting word choice in that it’s not uncommon to refer to both the act and result of an orgasm as “splooge” which is a word that very well calls to mind the consistency and texture of semen. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the deep analysis. I figured that was the general gist of the sentence, but I thought ebbin was some actual slang verb.

My guess would be that they threatened to pull the app from their store; I’m pretty sure I’ve heard of both them and Google doing that with other things as well. People often point out that first amendment rights only apply to the government and corporations can do as they wish, but the problem is that corporations have more or less supplanted the government at this point. They own the mail / shipping systems, the electronic communications systems, the food and housing, and often even the roads. Rich people figured out that they don’t have to deal with any of those pesky governmental restrictions on power if they just call it capitalism instead. Hell, they can even point the finger right back and say they’re the ones being infringed upon!

As a bonus, we also have the US government (and I’m sure other countries too) making secret, “unofficial requests” to private corporations such as Twitter and Facebook to extralegally censor speech, as FOIA requests eventually revealed.
