The Last Game Boy You’ll Ever Buy
No matter how repairable this thing is, I guarantee you that original Game Boys pretty much offer the same level of repairability. I bought all of my GBs (DMG01, GBC, GBA SP) in broken state and repaired them; it’s not that hard.
For that price you can almost certainly find original hardware and have fun repairing it. That’s what iFixit should advocate for IMO.
