Not that I’m aware of, a couple have better technical privacy for now until the integration of full-chain membership proofs, but they are not nearly as used, and so you are trying to get privacy in a very small pool of people, which is not helpful.
Strong network effects wise, no. Price wise, no. Age wise, no. But tech wise, you’ve got firo, arrr, wownero. They’re not really competitors because of all the ways Monero dominates, but they could serve the purposes Monero serves as private money for people really well if people wanted to use them.
I think firo is especially interesting due to their use of zkp, which is a fundamentally different approach to monero’s obfuscation

No. XMR are 100% mining rewards. Proven technology has been running since 2014.
Negative. Every single one of them has some massive red flags that make them nonviable.
Zano or some Z named coin. Zazo or something. Direct comparison I don’t know. I have only heard of it. Probably not as trusted either way as monero.
