Yeah, that’s why the security state has been ramping up domestically. The capitalist class runs the state, and they know the working class will eventually pick up pitch forks in reaction to late-stage capital concentration and grinding neoliberalism. That’s why domestic surveillance powers keep expanding and why “cop cities” are being built around the country. They’ve been preparing for the inevitability of the cold class war turning hot.

It’s also why the Democratic party has lost its credibility with the working class, leading to the likes of Trump, as Chris Hedges warned fourteen years ago in Death of the Liberal Class.
