    Well to be fair: the 10 min lockout is the exact same on windows.

    When you have that policy in AD set, the user also simply recieves Wrong Password/Username as answere if it is their fourth attempt at it. Even if the credentials are right. User Account is locked and will unlock 15 minuites later.
