I have to agree with one of the comments: “If I saw this on a plane I would still walk out.”

Edit: the comment section is absolutely worth a moment of your time.

Honestly,it’s the only reason I shared this. I knew no one would upvote this crap, but the comments make it worth it.

I went to read the comments after this comment. I don’t know this Rachel Ziegler person, is she known for being cold? Or is her portrayal of the character coming off as cold? (I didn’t actually watch it)

The CGI dwarves look like the freaks from Aphex Twin’s “Come to Daddy” video.

This movie is going to bomb…hard.

A lot of people are complaining about the CGI dwarves, but it’s infinitely preferable to the original “Seven Magical Creatures” bullshit they originally planned.

They ditched this early on, so we don’t know who’s who, but guessing Sleepy, Bashful, Dopey, Doc, Grumpy, Happy and Sneezy.

Innovation and creativity are still running high on the major studios. Honestly I hope they would just let the creators get back on LSD or coke or whatever they did back when movies were fun.

One criticism of many that could be made is on the tag line: “The classic story comes to life”

I feel like anyone given any role in any decision-making for a movie like this should respect the original enough not to claim that it didn’t bring the story “to life”. It was the first ever feature-length cartoon, it very much brought the story to life.

At the very least this movie seems to bring the story to the uncanny valley. Pausing at 1:42 is… highly regrettable.

This is going to bomb, and they are going to blame it on all the wrong reasons.

Is there anyone left at Disney that understands who their core audience is and how to market to them?
