Hi! In the past I’ve only read some extremely basic theory on anarchism, I haven’t really had time to go more in depth, but recently I’ve had more time on my hands and am looking to get more educated, currently the only books I have on my list are “The Conquest of Bread” and “Anarchy Works”, and I’m looking for anything else that I should read.
Audiobooks are also greatly appreciated!
Thank you! I take frequent breaks from social media, so I may not respond in the day, but I do greatly appreciate any recommendations.
Some resources I have bookmarked:
An Anarchist FAQ
Mutual Aid, Pëtr Kropotkin
What is Communist Anarchism? Now and After: The ABC of Communist Anarchism, Alexander Berkman
Prison Memoirs of an Anarchist, Alexander Berkman
Anarchism a beginner’s guide
Fields, Factories and Workshops, Pëtr Kropotkin
Deconstructing Hierarchies, Colin Jenkins
Horizontal Organisation
Horizontalism: Anarchism, Power and the State, Mark Bray
Red Flags: Before You Join That Org
E: Also Andrewism on yt
‘An Anarchist FAQ’ is a great place to start because you can skip between sections on topics that interest you, and it cites various works, effectively providing a recommended reading list for any given topic.
Yup, it’s an amazing document that covers a massive range of topics, and also gets (semi) regularly updated.
Thank you! All of these look like great resources! I’ve actually watched Andrewism before, his video on digital colonialism was great imho!
You’re welcome, enjoy!
