A teachers union says it’s fed up with social media’s impact on students::The nation’s second-largest teachers union said Thursday it was losing patience with social media apps that it says are contributing to mental health problems and misbehavior in classrooms nationwide, draining time and money from teachers and school systems.

    I think it’s likely a combination of both things. The school system hasn’t changed, but they noticed the way students are in their classrooms have changed. The way people in general behave online is completely different from how they behave in person. It’d be silly to think that didn’t somehow have an effect on super impressionable minds like children.
