I’m just starting to learn Haveno. When you hover the cursor over the seller, all you get is a “Maker’s onion address”. I realize that the whole purpose of Haveno is for both buyers and sellers to be anonymous, but I’d be more likely to use the service if I recognized the name of a trusted seller from localmonero. I know several of them are trading on Haveno, but I can’t tell who is who. So I guess I’m asking if there is a way to find the trusted seller’s online moniker if they care to divulge it for the purpose of buyers being able to choose a seller based on their localmonero reputation.

It is up to the vendor to disclose its haveno onion address if he wants to.

Iv noticed some people may choose to mention their past personas on the other platforms. Or it could be someone just pretending, unless they provide their public pgp key how would you know until you trade with them and you recognise address? Trust no one. Prepare to lose a small amount in the mail as tests at fist or use other methods on haveno which if you deal with a scammer could be worse.

People could theoretically put their reto .onion onto their profile or sign it with their pgp key and then you can search for it in the client.
